Ceramic Technologies offers hot-pressed boron nitrade/titanium diboride evaporator boats used to metallize plastic film and paper. Our boats offer the biggest aluminum puddle in the industry.

2. Properties

(1) Wetting performance along streaked grooves is highly improved, and provides a widely spread aluminum pool in the cavity in the beginning of the metallization. Stream of aluminum melt is guided along grooves at first, and spreads lengthwise. Widely spread melt area is easily provided.
(2)Aluminum melt toward the electrode is controlled. Wetting performance along streaked grooves controls the elongation of aluminum melt toward the electrode, which is free from the electrical leakage.
(3)Wetting performance in the breadth is not changed under high temperature. A conventional boat can not provide enough aluminum melt area for metallization at very high temperature because of the low wetting performance, whereas, ZEBRA BOAT® makes enough melt area caused by high wetting performance along streaks.
(4)Aluminum spread area can be controlled.
Aluminum spread along streaks and toward the electrodes is easily controlled.
